Located in Udawalawe, NATURE HOUSE offers rustic accommodation with free WiFi access available at all areas. Rooms are comfortable, clean and fitted with a spacious private terrace. We were very happy with this accommodation, everything from staff to food and facilities.

What an adorable chalet in the middle of nowhere . Gives you enough privacy and makes you feel like a royalty .The owner was extremely helpful and polite . Even though we arrived later than the time decided , we were still greeted with a hot cup of tea and snacks . The place has all the fixtures of a western 5 star resort . The outdoor toilet was by itself a charming experience of the nature . I would highly recommend this place if you want to have a great stay, feel royal , want to experience first hand hospitality of Srilankans and excellent warm breakfast.

The owner of the accommodation and his wife were very friendly. They were very interested in whether we had everything and whether we were satisfied. We got an excellent dinner and breakfast. The room was clean and nice. I definitely recommend for a stay. The place is quiet and surrounded by a garden. The owner took us to the bus. The owner cares a lot about the rating and really tries to make the guests happy.

The location is beautiful, gardens are full of fresh fruit which was part of the delicious breakfast, the pool is fantastic, the host was incredibly helpful and made me a packed lunch for the safari which he organised as well as my onward trip to Tangalle, also the dinner was delicious which consisted of different Srilankan curries…so tasty! My room was really spacious and the bed very comfortable with an amazing rainfall shower in a newly built bathroom. I spent 3 days here and it was bliss 🌟

We recently stayed at Hotel Ibis in Udawalawe, Sri Lanka, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel's serene garden setting provided a peaceful retreat, and our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The air conditioning and comfortable bedding ensured a restful night's sleep. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional hospitality of the host, Sarath. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering personalized service and attending to our every need. Sarath also organized a memorable safari tour for us at Udawalawe National Park, providing insightful information about the local wildlife. The on-site restaurant served delicious Sri Lankan cuisine, and we particularly enjoyed the hearty breakfast each morning. The hotel's proximity to the Elephant Transit Home and Udawalawe National Park made it an ideal base for exploring the area's attractions. Overall, our stay at Hotel Ibis was outstanding, thanks to Sarath's kindness and the comfortable accommodations. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Udawalawe.

Breakfast and dinner were both good. Near a beautiful river, designed with the environment in mind. Highly recommended for a few days stay.

My experience at Dhalaya Resort in the Udawalawe area was wonderful in every way! The location is characterized by stunning natural beauty, surrounded by breathtaking views that captivate the heart. The gardens of the resort are incredibly beautiful, filled with diverse trees and plants that create an atmosphere of tranquility and serenity. The service was highly professional, with staff always being warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and impeccably arranged, adding a touch of comfort. The resort also offers a variety of recreational activities, such as safari trips to explore the wildlife. The hotel provides meals and drinks that guests can take with them on their safari trips. The restaurant serves delicious dishes that showcase the authentic flavors of Sri Lanka in a delightful way. I would like to thank the reception staff, especially the young lady Dilmi, for their kind welcome. I also extend my gratitude to the staff member Lakman for his professional service and room preparation. I cannot forget the lovely young lady in the restaurant, the amazing chef, and the restaurant manager David, who provided an exceptional experience in presenting the delicious Sri Lankan dishes.
