Set just 600 metres from Uppuveli beach, Breeze Guest House provides accommodation in Trincomalee with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Amazing stay! Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Outside area was beautiful to relax in, location just a minute walk from the property. The real highlight was the use of the shared kitchen, which was well equipped, and there are several markets near by for fresh produce and eggs, which was a welcome change. Would definitely recommend staying at this property during your time in Trincomalee!

Staff was extremely friendly and flexible on arrival/departure, I really felt welcome when they organized a ceremony for new year. It was nice also to share with other guests. They can also arrange some activities for you, and you can do snorkeling starting from the beach 3 miin away if you have your equipment

Set in Nilaveli, a few steps from Nilaveli Beach, Moon Isle Beach Bungalow offers accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The location and vibe was incredible. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay in a stunning location go there. We also booked whale watching and saw whales. The food was great and a very warm welcome from Amanda made our stay amazing.

Offering a year-round outdoor swimming pool and views of the sea, Amanta Beach is set in Nilaveli, 20 km from Trincomalee. Each air-conditioned room offers a view. Rooms have a private bathroom. We stayed at Amanta Beach Resort for two nights and wished we would have stayed for a week! The property is beautiful and private but close enough to Nilaveli & Trinco that you could take a Tuk Tuk if you needed to. The rooms were spotless, beautiful, and everything worked perfectly (including the air con). As previous reviewers have said, the beach is your own little private slice of paradise. We were there a few weeks before the heavy season, so the seas were a bit rough, but we spent many hours lounging in the chairs on the sand! The food was amazing too! We had dinner one night and it was one of the best meals that we've had on our year abroad. The owner/chef comes out and explains everything and tells you where he got the ingredients from (mostly his on-site garden). Shyakthi and his staff make this place what it is! They all go above and beyond to make sure you're enjoying yourself and that you're comfortable. They put a lot of time and energy into the entire experience and it shows. There is a reason this hotel is rated 9+ on Booking and you should definitely come see for yourself!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre, Amaranthe Bay Resort & Spa is located just 5 km north of the Trincomalee town on the beautiful East Coast of Sri Lanka. The hotel is very good. Room is clean and spacious. The view on the bay is gorgeous. It’s relatively close to the beach and the ocean in this area is very clean and warm. We spent here 4 nights with our 3 years old son and we all had a wonderful time. The staff is very attentive. I especially want to highlight the man at the pool area and the guys from the restaurant, especially Kirujan , who was very helpful with all our needs. The food was delicious and varied. Definitely recommend this hotel. From what we’ve seen that’s probably the best resort in the area.

Located in Trincomalee, 6.6 km from Pigeon Island National Park, Adaar provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. We were so happy with our stay at Adaar. We were looking for somewhere to relax after a very busy few weeks and this was the perfect fit. The staff here are incredible, are always working so hard to make sure you are enjoying your stay. We had the breakfast every morning where you could choose American/continental/sri Lankan or Indian and it was always delicious with plenty of food! The accommodation is a little far out from the main centre of shops/restaurants in Nivali and Trincomalee but we rented a scooter so this wasn’t an issue and the hotel pool is so great there’s no big need to leave!

Beautiful accommodation, spotlessly clean, with everything needed. Comfy beds, a/c, good bathroom, well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge. I wish we could have stayed longer. And the weather despite the low season was perfect. 30c and clear blue skies.
