The stay felt truly welcoming, and the breakfast was both delicious and varied. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with everything I needed, and the hotel manager was highly professional and personally involved in ensuring a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

The most chaotic portion of the city (nightlife and such) is within minutes of walking but you can walk in the opposite direction to connect to much more family friendly options like the huge street markets, temples, etc. It truly is a perfect location. There are tons of amazing restaurants within minutes walking too! Nearly right across the street there is a travel agency owned by Sunil Tamang. He will handle everything for your adventures and not be pushy. I strongly recommend him. The breakfast and staff were amazing at the hotel! The owner was very available and made sure we were happy! I even got a private tour of the property as they were doing upgrades. I very much recommend the hotel for all aspects: Location, hospitality, food, etc...

L’établissement Hotel Barahi Kathmandu est idéalement placé à Katmandou. Barahi was centrally located in Thamel but in an easy walking distance away from the crowded streets, giving both access to the area but more quiet feel. Taxis were well aware of the hotel location so it was easy to hop on and communicate as well. The breakfast was good and their Chia tea (Chai tea) and plain Lassi were delicious!

It was an incredibly pleasant experience. The hotel is tastefully renovated and comfortable. Needless to say, the staffs were excellent and the manager, Devendra is brilliant at what he does. The owner is also very kind. This has to be the best stay I’ve had in Nepal and it was nothing short of a delightful experience. The hotel takes care of each and every special request you could have. What more could you need? Bonus: The hotel also has the best momo I’ve had so far.
