Located in Turangi, Riverstone Lodge, a 5-star hostel, offers a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and free WiFi. The property provides garden views and a terrace. I had a wonderful time at the Riverstone Lodge! Sandra was the best host, always helpful and cheerful. The common rooms and kitchen were very clean and comfortable, and it felt like living in a flat share with other travelers. The location was also great, close to the town center, and a perfect starting point for the Tongariro crossing or fishing.

Boasting an idyllic lake front setting, Acacia Lake View Motel offers free WiFi. Some rooms feature a balcony. All have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Everything, from start to finish. The staff were amazing, and very helpful and friendly. Our accomodation was spotlessly clean. We had cooking facilities, hairdryer, shampoo, body wash, and luxury white towels. It really was a home away from home. I would absolutely recommend Acacia Lake View Motel.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. Large living room with separate bedroom. There was a well equipped, small kitchenette. A large, very clean bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. There were several facilities for fishermen. It was very pleasant to sit on the deck and watch the birds. It was a short walk to the river. There were laundry facilities on site. We loved the place.

Great location, a short drive to the central part of town. Our room had a lake view, which you can enjoy from a covered and heated balcony, which gives it a plus if you go in winter. The room itself was really comfortable and every detail was well thought out. The spa pool was divine and the place was an oasis to relax. I'll definitely stay there again.

One of the best accomodation places we have ever stayed in. All round amazing in every way. Peaceful, restful with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Little way out of town which added to whole experience. We would return in a flash.
