We didn’t expect much, but it was such a pleasure to stay here! Everything was exceptional! The warm welcome, the great location with lots of things to do at, kids friendly and client-oriented! Really nice breakfast buffet. The room was also great, with all the facilities needed, spacious and clean! We highly recommend this place!

Located within the walls of the Marvão Castle, at the top of the high village of Marvão, Dom Dinis Marvão features a rooftop terrace with a Jacuzzi® and panoramic views of the countryside below. Hotel was right in the village next to the castle. Really cute and cozy. Even had a fire in the breakfast room. Room had a terrace with fantastic views of the valley. Highly recommend staying there.

Surrounded by vast, tree-lined gardens, the charming Convento São Paulo offers 2 outdoor pools a tennis court and offers 4 padel courts. A very interesting convent in lovely countryside. We could explore the historic building. We were here in November so didn’t get chance to use the swimming pool but that looked worth coming back for. There are a couple of great walks laid out in the Convent estate. We had a good dinner in the restaurant. The room and breakfast were excellent, staff very helpful. We have already recommended it to friends who also travel in the area.

Surrounded by 80 000m² of beautiful gardens, this 5-star hotel is 4 km from Évora city centre and housed in a renovated 15th-century convent. It offers a piano bar and free parking. Absolutely gorgeous, historic property, even more beautiful than is possible to show in photos. Our room was much larger than we expected, with a lovely balcony and view. The service from all of the staff from the front desk to the restaurant, was exceptional. We had a fantastic dinner and breakfast on site. Fabulous stay in Evora.

24 km from El Corte Ingles, Quinta do Freixo is a recently renovated property set in Elvas and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Upon arrival we had high hopes for the week long stay we booked for our family. The cottages themselves are lovely. But the rest of our stay was a disaster.

Set in Évora, 3.5 km from Cathedral of Evora Se, Quinta da Amendoeira - Évora - The Farmhouse offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Such a lovely, quiet location! It's perfect for families, especially if you have pets and want to stay a mile or two outside of the city. We had a very comfortable two bedroom with several patios. The pool is heated and provides a perfect space to spend an afternoon. Our dog, Maddi, was welcomed and able to go everywhere, which is such a rarity for hotels in Portugal. Breakfast was consistently delicious during our stay. My husband had the pork cheeks for dinner via room service and was very impressed! Thank you to the owners for creating such a lovely space for us to stay.
