There is also a well tuned guitar and piano here so if you’re musical and missing your instrument, this is it! Thank you, Alvorada Medieval, for filling my cup. I arrived empty and depleted, and I left feeling nourished and held.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, as was the bed. The bathroom was well set out. Breakfast was included and was made to order. It was fresh and arrived at the specified time. Good restaurant recommendations also as was information on public transport. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was a short walk to the main part of the old town. Braga is well worth a vist and this hotel is definitely worth staying at.

Situated just 600 metres from Palace Duques de Bragança, Dom José Alojamentos by Guestify features accommodation in Guimarães with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a lift. The room was so pretty, with the high ceilings and decoration. The staircase in the building is breathtaking. I also liked the little garden in the back, perfect for morning coffee.
