Staying at The Social Hub Porto is always a treat—its playful interior and laid-back vibe perfectly match my mood in a city as vibrant as this. After exploring Porto on foot and staying in three different locations, I can confidently say this is my favorite spot. It's super central—just steps from main squares, lively streets, the train station, and a short downhill stroll to the Douro River. We lucked out with a room in the iconic curved façade, complete with big windows looking out over the street—absolutely gorgeous. The hotel itself is full of great amenities, but the rooftop bar and pool are the real cherry on top. Whether it’s morning coffee or an afternoon cooldown, it’s the perfect place to chill, recharge, or simply enjoy the view. With Porto’s amazing brunch scene just outside the door, we skipped the hotel breakfast and embraced the motto hanging on the flag in every room: "Let's stay in"—unless it's for pancakes. Next time I’m in Porto, I’ll be checking TSH availability first—no question about it.

Featuring a terrace, a restaurant as well as a bar, Timbre Virtudes is located in the centre of Porto, 600 metres from Palacio da Bolsa. The Hotel das Virtudes was the most unique hotel we stayed in during our Portugal trip. The restoration of the hotel is impressive. The breakfast was the best of our Portugal trip. We ate 1 night in the hotel restaurant and the staff and chef were fantastic. The hotel was within walking distance to great restaurants, port tasting, attractions and the river. We watched the sun set from the rooftop bar; beautiful.

Located in Vila Nova de Gaia, 2.8 km from Douro River, The Rebello Hotel & Spa - Small Luxury Hotels Of The World provides accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a garden and a shared... My parents and I had a two-bedroom suite and we loved every bit of our stay at The Rebello! The apartment was spacious but so thoughtfully laid out and decorated that it felt relaxing and homely, not impersonal. The kitchen was generously stocked and the view of the river was spectacular. I enjoyed using the swimming pool at the spa and the view of Porto from the restaurant terrace. The location was excellent - just at the fringe of Vila Nova de Gaia and within walking distance of attractions but far enough from all the noise and crowds of Porto.

This 5-star hotel offers a bar.... Breakfast was amazing, hotel was amazing and location was in a nice and quiet area. We enjoyed the walk to river and other attractions as we could do sightseeing while we walk. This is our 3rd visit to Porto and we will be back.

Room was in compliance with 5 star hotel status and the icing on the cake was crystal walls shower in the middle of the room P.s. parking with car elevator also impressed.
