Santa Apolónia is located halfway between historical Bragança and the IP4 motorway. It offers quiet accommodation with free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour reception and free on-site private parking. Everything was perfect. Friendly atmosphere. I felt like at home. The stuff is very nice.

Situated within 3.7 km of Chaves Thermal Spa and 24 km of Golf Course Vidago Palace, Refúgio da Garça offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Chaves. This place is absolutely excellent. Spotlessly clean , family run and could not be faulted . Had a motorcycle and safe parking . Would not consider any where else if staying in this area.

Located in Vila Real, 14 km from Natur Waterpark, Casa dos Correios provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. The Casa offered us 2 huge rooms with comfy beds, very nice showers and bathrooms including all the necessities. The room features a mini-fridge, microwave, and kettle plus a kitchen sink so one could prepare some food, but the common kitchen is also available to use with complimentary coffee and tea all day. The place is very quiet for sleeping with only four rooms total, plus it's on a side street with a large verandah between the hotel and the street. It's located just behind the actual Correios building a few steps from the main pedestrian center, with access to many places to eat and shop. One added pleasure was that the hotel has been decorated like a museum, with artifacts from old post offices and artistic touches in the same theme. The cordial owner was pleased to show us all the nice pieces, like the old phones and signage. A excellent choice in a lovely city. We will return for a longer stay!
