Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. This property is superb in all regards. The hosts, Elza and Albert, are gracious, welcoming, and ever so helpful. We just returned from almost 3 weeks in South Africa, staying in a number of guest houses. Riverside was our most enjoyable stay. We regretted not having booked a longer stay at this wonderful establishment. The attention to detail in all matters of the accommodation are quite remarkable, really. This is a must stay when in the Outdshoorn/George area. The breakfast room and fare were very upscale without feeling stuffy. Food was delicious!

Your wonderful property was an excellent stopover for us and we wished we’d been able to stay for a week ! Next time!

Offering a restaurant, The Karoo Moon Motel is located in Barrydale. Free WiFi access is available. Each unit will provide you with private entrance, living and dining area and a courtyard. Such a fun, eclectic spot. Full of antiques. We loved it. Conveniently located beside the Diesel and Crème Restaurant, open for Breakfast and Lunch. Their Chia Latte was the best we have ever had. They recommended the Mez Karoo Kitchen for dinner…it was excellent as well.

Providing garden views, HouseMartin Lodge & Self Catering in De Rust provides accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. The rooms were beautiful and spacious with aircon. Lush gardens and a very nice pool area. Centrally located. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Set 16 km from Oudtshoorn, Berluda offers charming accommodation in country-style cottages located in the scenic Schoemanshoek Valley, 15 km from the Cango Caves. It features 2 swimming pools. The hosts were very flexible on an early checkin and also on dietary concerns. They were also quick to upgrade the room stay. Very easy to work with and a beautiful property. The AC was great and the power was on despite blackouts nearby. They also were not trying to upcharge me for the special meal or for an Ostrich Farm tour in addition to the Meerkats.

A lot of thought and heart has gone into making the Earthbound Guesthouse a great place to stay! A truly eclectic, personal touch in each room/area - a whole lot of care and attention has been given to every little detail 👌🏼 We thoroughly recommend staying Marie very kindly helped us out with my wife's father (a senior 80+). She even kindly upgraded us so we could have rooms next to each... and so he had level access Marie you really went above and beyond for us, thank you! The place is very, very clean - we slept well! We had the place to ourselves, so it was exceptionally quiet! Beautiful pool to cool off in!

Surrounded by a rose garden, this 5-star hotel is situated en route to the Cango Caves and Ostrich Farms. It offers a wellness centre, well-equipped gym and a beauty clinic. We all enjoyed everything about Rosenhof. The attention to detail and attentiveness to guests is amazing. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Zeekoe is located along the worlds longest R62 wine route and surrounded by the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountains. Very spacious rooms, nice pool, quiet area. And the Meerkat Safari is a must do, really great experience!
