Friendliness of both the hosts (husband & wife) , they really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, it was really blissful and we enjoyed our stay. Situated in Dinokeng Game Reserve, 13 km from Dinokeng Game Reserve, Out in Africa Wildlife Lodge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Just about an hour and a half away from Johannesburg, we had a wonderful stay at Out of Africa. My Wife and I visited this lodge for our 5 year anniversary. If you book in advance, you can enjoy a fine dining experience on a Rovos Rail train carriage that's on the property. The hosts Monique and Ludger went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this lodge if you want to escape the busy city life for a nice and relaxing holiday.

They make you feel at home right away. The service is more than 5 star. They make you feel so comfortable. And the food, simply out of this world. Richard is the lynchpin to this phenomenal operation of great service and conservation. He is so knowledgeable about the animals and a fantastic guide and Ranger. Patrick at Front of House makes sure everything is perfect for guests and Doubt, makes sure you are watered and fed with grace and amazing service and humour . I can't say enough about the amazing chef.. The food is as good as any Michelin star restaurant in London. This is a gem of a place that has been hidden too long from the UK traveller to South Africa. It is so with the 2.5 hour drive from Johannesburg. This is South Africa at its best.

Family friendly, good accommodation, good facilities, very helpful having a well stocked supermarket on site. All the staff were friendly. It was a public holiday weekend, so very busy, in a good way.
