Fantastic motel and great for families/friend groups. We were a group of 8 staying in two family rooms, which was more than enough space. Pleasantly surprised about the ocean view from balcony, and staff were super accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

This was a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations. It was easy to find and just a short walk from the esplanade that has a few restaurants, a pub, a cafe, a brewery and a gorgeous beach with a jetty to fish off (or just watch the world go by) and a swimming net. Picnic Bay is a quite spot on the island but the busses run frequently and on time to get you anywhere else on the island if you want to explore. The man on reception was so friendly with a no fuss check in and super informative about anything we needed to know. The accommodation is small but absolutely spotless. Paths and gardens were clean and maintained, the pool was sparkling, the outdoor bbq area super clean and spacious and the rooms were just perfect, actually better than the photos. They had everything we needed for our night stay, we would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer next time.

The place was so clean! It felt so fancy and absolutely loved the plunge pool which also had a TV and mini fridge down stairs with it. The staff were so welcoming but also just gave us our space. Location was perfect, easy walk to restaurants and clothes shops, bottle shops and the beach. Close to the ferry terminal and bus stops to be able to access the whole island. The beds were comfortable! There were really no negatives, I can't wait to stay again!

    The house was just stunning, really loved the decor, very nicely designed interior. Nice and quiet street, very clean, had everything we needed and lots of space for a family of 4. Walking distance to the best beach on the island. Friendly host. One of the best holiday rentals we have ever stayed in. Will visit again.

    When staying on Maggie we love Arcadia/Alma Bay, and Dandaloo Gardens is easily the nicest accommodation we've had, there. Our room was clean, well appointed and spacious, and we loved the deck looking into the pool and garden. It was just a short walk to the beach and some pleasant options for meals, and the bus stop (cheapest way to get around on Maggie) was just a very short walk away.

    Collected keys from Best of Magnetic at the ferry terminal and they drove us to property for free❤ Lifeguarded beach very close, We went to see the local rock wallabies one dusk. Public buses on Maggies made get to and from this accommodation any time of day or night easy. Loads of walking trails near by. Spacious accomodation

    This was my second stay at this property. I came over to Magnetic Island for a weekend away with my toddler son. It's the perfect spot for us. The location is excellent - right across the road from two different beaches (One lifesaver patrolled, another a long stretch of beach), across the road from a playground, right beside the pub for meals, right beside a bus stop. The room is very comfortable, and the room I stayed in was right in front of the pool. Perfect! Staff at the accommodation are very friendly!
