It was a great experience staying here. Lots of space, very few cottages, and an amazing atmosphere. The hotel manager was nice and sweet. She left some cheese in the fridge, offered a bottle of rose, and made sure we had a ready to go fireplace with some extra wood to keep the cabin warm for 2 nights. We definitely have to come back!

First class infrastructure, with a huge room, a full kitchen and a large sitting room, a balcony with its own patch of garden and a covered garage leading into the sitting room. There is no room servicd but the Nineteen restaurant is literally a few steps away and serves excellent hearty fare. Special shout out to Abdallah in reception for his knowledge and friendly helpfulness.

    Leconfield House is a lovely place to stay. My husband and I were treated as though we were friends rather than paying customers. The house is beautiful and it has been lovingly restored along with the wonderful gardens. Richard and Mark have done excellent work with the place and fed us beautifully while we were there.

    The only place you would want to stay in while in the area. The team will also look after you in the cafe just metres from your room for the BEST b'fast ever. Its a must stay !!

    Charming house, beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds and room. Mark and Richard were exceptional hosts from the greeting to the beautiful breakfast and catering to our requests. Learning about the history of Leconfield House also added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay.

    Jo was amazing knew the area well and is the most amazing chef. we had never stayed at a small guest house like this before and while we were a little nervous at first. Jo made us feel so welcome and like it was a home away from home. So relaxing and so spoilt. Harvey was the coolest little doggo, will definitely be back.

    It was an exceptional experience. Jo is an amazing operator who is an ex chef so the included breakfasts and optional dinners are their own hunter valley experience. The accomodation is beautiful and we enjoyed every aspect of our stay.

    The breakfast Jo cooks is 5 star. We were on our honeymoon and we could not have stayed in a better accommodation. Because the breakfast was so amazing we had dinner most nights also. Again a 3 course meal from an awesome chef. Jo cared so much for us an awesome host everyone. Thanks Jo 😊
