This was a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations. It was easy to find and just a short walk from the esplanade that has a few restaurants, a pub, a cafe, a brewery and a gorgeous beach with a jetty to fish off (or just watch the world go by) and a swimming net. Picnic Bay is a quite spot on the island but the busses run frequently and on time to get you anywhere else on the island if you want to explore. The man on reception was so friendly with a no fuss check in and super informative about anything we needed to know. The accommodation is small but absolutely spotless. Paths and gardens were clean and maintained, the pool was sparkling, the outdoor bbq area super clean and spacious and the rooms were just perfect, actually better than the photos. They had everything we needed for our night stay, we would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer next time.

Everything was very clean in the apartment and it was very cozy. The host messaged us directly with the instructions to get the keys from the lock and the check in was very easy. The apartment complex exceeded my expectations !

The place was so clean! It felt so fancy and absolutely loved the plunge pool which also had a TV and mini fridge down stairs with it. The staff were so welcoming but also just gave us our space. Location was perfect, easy walk to restaurants and clothes shops, bottle shops and the beach. Close to the ferry terminal and bus stops to be able to access the whole island. The beds were comfortable! There were really no negatives, I can't wait to stay again!

    Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The studio is modern with every convenience but still has a great tropical vibe. We loved the deck. Horseshoe Bay really is the pick of them all for a real island holiday feel. Good cafes and easy access to the best walks on the island. We had a car which made it a bit easier.

    The cabin is so pretty. Suitable for a vacation trip. Private and quiet. Also, Aly is very sweet. She picked us up at Horseshoes Bay because we missed the bus stop. Thank you very much for everything. If there is a chance to go back again, I will stay in Kapok again!!. (I wish I could stay one more night🙂)

    The owner Aly was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She picked us up from the bus stop and let us put our bags somewhere hours before check in so we were able to explore the island. She also gave us access to two bikes with a bike lock so we were able to cycle to horseshoe bay. The accomodation is a short walk from the bus stop where you can access anywhere on the island for a cheap price. I highly recommend the accomodation and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    We liked the location of the property as it was fairly close to the beach, about 15/20 mins walking distance but we had a car so it was convenient for us. There was a pub with a pool that we could use that was not far which was a huge hit with the kids. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean and tidy, the neighbourhood was quiet and the house had everything we needed including two bathrooms which was really convenient with a family of 6. It was a nice little holiday home. We really enjoyed our stay thank you.

    The apartment was super comfortable and the facilities were great. There was everything we needed to enjoy a holiday which made it feel like a home from home! The staff were really informative and gave us lots of tips to make the most of our stay on the island.
