I loved everything about the cottage. Thoughtful touches like beautiful tableware, relaxing music playing on arrival. It was just gorgeous and I wish we could have stayed longer. Its walking distance to the village and a short drive to supermarket and surrounded by nature. It is also under an hour from Melbourne so I would definitely stay here over being in town.

    A lovely stay at Rod's place. He was a fabulous host and very easy to communicate with. The guesthouse is very homely and filled with quaint trinkets and antiques. The King room is very spacious and the views from the balcony are lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub on a chilly afternoon.

    Breakfast was fine. Unfortunately I got sick the first night I was there and needed to call an Ambulance the next morning. They arrived within about half hour. We found all of the staff pleasant. Olivia was outstanding and we have the utmost praise for her care and her dedication to her work. She made our stay very comfortable in difficult circumstances - was even able to arrange a meal for us at night.

    Beautiful location tucked away in a quiet area. Staff were friendly and helpful and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were able to visit lots of nearby places and enjoyed coming back to warm up in front of the heater on the colder autumn nights. We look forward to returning for another stay.

    The property was exactly as pictured. Extremely cosy and picturesque. The fireplace was our favourite feature and added the extra warmth we were after. A beautiful property to stay at. Especially during the colder months.

    The facility is designed for conferences and retreats but is able to accommodate private stays. It is set within tranquil gardens deep within the forests of the Dandenongs. It was quiet and clean with resort like facilities - swimming pool, tennis courts etc.

    The location, the comfort and cozy vibes were immaculate. Cannot imagine a more beautiful place to stay in the depths of winter. We will definitely love to rebook another stay in the future. Birdlife that visited us each morning was a thrill. Every need and want was accommodated for.
