I recently stayed at Sponars Chalet for a ski trip, and overall, it was a decent experience. The best thing about Sponars is definitely the value – it's one of the more affordable options in the Perisher area, and for the price, it really delivers a cosy, social lodge vibe. The rooms are simple but clean and warm, which is all that is needed after a full day on the snow. The staff were also super friendly and helpful. If you want a place that’s friendly and reasonably priced, Sponars is a solid choice.

It was very convenient! The staff were very good. They helped us as our car had broken down upon arrival. We even got a lift out to Jindabyne’s from one lovely lady because our towed car was in Cooma on New Year’s Eve!

Amazing location right on the lake, apartment was clean, well equiped, cozy and good size. Family of four on a ski trip and was perfect. Easy check in and out. Was surprised on the negative reviews of this place - was excellent.

We visited this "ski" lodge in summer. The entire area is a "V" with the one side the road and parking for this stay, the bottom is the ski lift / commercial district, and the right side the top of the mountain. Easy to get your bags to the lodge. Many steps down to town and if you climb the moutain the walk back up the steps is strenuous. The host is wonderful and cooks a tasty, filling breakfast. We enjoyed the other couples in sharing stories from around the world.

    Rosemary was an absolutely wonderful host, and made our stay super enjoyable. The food was delicious and the lodge was very homely, providing a great place to rest after a big day at the snow. Will definitely be back here next time!

    The staff were amazing. They looked after my daughter and I so well. The location could not be better. Right next to the V8. It took all the hassle out of a ski holiday. The food was also beyond expectations.

    Great location, right beside the six chair. We enjoyed the meals at the beginning and end of the day. Lovely fireplace in reception area. We stayed in the budget accomodation. Very simple, no frills, but good value and exactly what we needed.
