Everything was just perfect. The hotel staff were fantastic, the food (we were fortunate to experience the chefs special set menu) was absolutely delicious and rates definite 10/10!! Breakfast was wonderful, best coffee on our trip around Aus and served by the most ‘nothing is a problem’ lady. We would make the 20 hour flight just to go back again… and all in such a lovely location.

well....what not to like? a historical building renovated to a fault with the most exquisite taste. Kim's art, flair for plush and luxury fabrics and materials make the suites little treasure troves, islands of pure comfort and style. it is stylish, elegant, comfortable, thought through so that you will never look for any missing amenities: steam iron? Nespresso coffee maker? Nespresso pods? incredibly plush towels and bathrobes? unbelievably soft linen bedding and comfy mattress? you name it, they have it. and the timeliness and elegance of communications by estate manager Kelly make your stay smooth, sleek and a genuine pleasure through and through we cannot wait to be back really. OMI is one of a kind. while everyone brags about luxury accomodation, Old Market Inn actually provides the real experience. splendid

Julie was exceptionally kind and very welcoming. The property is wonderful and very very well maintained. The gardens are lovely and especially the Alpacas are sooooo cute 🥰 We only had 1 night unfortunately but we really really enjoyed it! Thanks Julie!!!

We loved everything about the Merrijig Inn. The historic building has been beautifully maintained, all the furnishings and decor in keeping with the era. The gardens are abundant and gorgeous, baskets of delicious fresh produce all over the Inn. Our room was well equipped and very comfortable. The staff friendly and welcoming. Hannah warrants a special mention, she made our stay extra special, lots of local knowledge, she ensured all our needs were catered for. The highlight of our stay was breakfast, absolutely wonderful.

    We loved everything about our stay. The location right next to the beach was perfect. We could sit inside with the gas fire warming the room(as it was winter) and looking out to the beach and the sound of the crashing waves. The accommodation was very generous in size, well fitted out with everything we needed, very clear instructions on how to use the appliances, where to park etc. It was a nice walk to the main street, eateries, shops and cafes. Everything was close by.

    Very nicely run establishment, with 3 styles of accommodation (guest house, cottage and motel). The main building is historic, and character. I stayed in a cottage, which was very well appointed (all good quality) and very charming. Nicer than the pictures. The manager was very welcoming and lovely. The location is great.

    What a nice surprise, we have stayed in Port Fairy on quite a few occasions and have always been pretty happy with the accommodation however this surpassed our expectations. Obviously recently renovated, it was very clean and fresh. Very well appointed particularly the loft bedroom area. Great location, short walk to shops and restaurants. Private carpark at door. Furniture clean and comfortable. Well appointed kitchen with everything you need for a stay.

    The accommodation was excellent for the four staying (my wife and I and two female friends). I organised the stay and our two friends were extremely happy with the Dunes. Our friends were used to quality accommodation and thus were able to do an accurate and honest critique.

    The apartment was well appointed. We were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect for us. Close to Cafes, Pubs, and town centre. Garage parking was a great feature of the accommodation.

    Fantastic property, furnished and equipped to the highest standards. Every detail has been thought of. The garden is a wonderful tranquil space to enjoy. The coffee machine made first class coffee from freshly ground beans - a superb morning wakeup. One of the best holiday accommodations we have stayed anywhere in the world. And that's saying something - we travel a lot and have stayed in some fantastic places.
