Its a walk up from the town, but you are rewarded with peace, quite and lovely views. You can go walking directly from the Hostel for miles and miles. We stayed in a private room, which was just fine. Samaipata is about three hours from Santa Cruz - Bert arranged for Elias, a friendly taxi driver, to pick us up from Santa Cruz and take us back to the airportGuest review byIanYoung couple
