So I think you have to put the accommodation into this context, and on that basis, we really loved Pousada Lagamar. Yes there is a little walk up to the Pousada but the perspective you get through the jungle rather than the just from the beach is really special. The rooms are basic but comfortable and there is house keeping every day. We loved sitting and looking out at the view and listening to the nature around us.Guest review bySarahYoung couple

I was only able to book until the 09th as they were full. But the owner Luciana arranged for me to stay with her mum at Cruzoe for one night, to bridge the gap to allow me the rest of my stay in at Dolce Vita. The breakfast on their beautiful terrace is amazing and watching the monkeys, coati and porcupine come by made it very special. It’s in a quiet area of the island which lots of hikes around.
