We had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. The location is perfect, very convenient and close to everything we needed. Our room was beautiful—spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with every amenity one could ask for, including a great soaking bathtub. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredibly warm welcome we received upon arrival from Mandy’s uncle, James, and her brother. They greeted us with big smiles and genuine kindness, which immediately made us feel at home. The breakfast was good with a great cappuccino to start the day off right. Mandy herself was absolutely fantastic—always available via WeChat to answer any questions and offer great suggestions. Her English is excellent, which made communication very easy and smooth. On our departure day, James kindly carried our luggage all the way to the taxi area at 6:45 in the morning—again, with that same warm smile and friendly attitude. We also really loved the dogs, which added a charming, homely touch to the place. We wholeheartedly recommend staying at this hotel. It was an unforgettable experience and we would definitely come back!

I am very particular in choosing a place to stay for our travel. One of the owners, Arlin has been very active in communicating with me through email and wechat, answering all of my queries and requests. So that little act of service helped to convince me to book them. They offered a free pick up service from train station and they also has a porter service to help you carry your luggage all the way to your room. Upon arrival, i was super stoke because the hotel is exactly how they advertised in the website. They offered a bit more contemporary design while staying true to the traditional theme. We were greeted warmly with tea and i guess only the owner can converse in english but the workers arent. But despite the lack of english, we made do with translation app. Our room is spacious and clean with no speck of dust, our balcony is facing the old town street and literally you can just go out from the hotel and immediately shop. The hotel also very modern in a sense that they have a control button for their curtain anddd i cannot stress this enough, they HAVE AUTOMATED TOILET WITH THE FREAKING HOLY BIDET AND DYSON HAIRDRYER. Being a Malaysian, having a bidet is a must so to my fellow Malaysian traveller, im vouching for this hotel. Their toilet paper is 4 ply. They also have washer + dryer machine located at the ground floor, free to use, so another plus point there. I washed my clothes everynight, and then hang out with the owner while waiting for my laundry. They offered free breakfast, but seeing we are muslim, he switched the local breakfast with pastries instead. They always prepared free candies, local fruits and tea at the receptionist which i always took whenever i went out. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, it is very near to the main road, the iconic water wheel and dashi bridge. The attentiveness and care they provided for their guests, answering every questions no matter how silly they sounded, has really won it for me. Will come again!

The manager extended a warm welcome and offered us excellent suggestions for places to visit in and around Lijiang. The inn's staff is also incredibly considerate. The breakfast is simple but delicious, and the room design is quite appealing as well.

This is a beautiful boutique quaint gem of a place in Lijiang. It has a stunning view from the dinning room window of the rooftops in Lijiang. It is perfectly located, right in the middle of the Old Town Lijiang. The staff of this hotel is friendly, helpful and with a "I can help you with that" attitude. It was wonderful to spend Christmas here.

The experience of this stay was really great! We were very satisfied with the hotel's service from check-in to check-out. The room is spacious and bright, with complete facilities, especially the design of the bathroom is very user-friendly. The hotel's location is also very advantageous, with convenient transportation and numerous surrounding attractions. It was also very enjoyable to dine at the restaurant near the hotel in the evening, with a variety of delicious dishes. Next time I come to Lijiang, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again

    Friends who recommend visiting Lijiang can choose this homestay. It is the preferred accommodation for me if I visit again. The environment is very good, the hygiene is also good, and it is very quiet. You can see the entire Lijiang at night, and it is only a few hundred meters away from the ancient city. The most important thing is that the owner is very nice, down-to-earth, and very friendly

    The very enthusiastic landlord came to help us pack our luggage, the homestay was also very clean, and there were cherry trees in the courtyard that looked really nice. I was really satisfied with this trip and this accommodation was great!

    This is the best accommodation experience I have had in Lijiang. The room is also quite comfortable, the price is not expensive, the environment is very good, and I really like the clean and tidy decoration style. The boss is very kind and enthusiastic, making us feel at home here. Next time we come to Lijiang, we will definitely come and stay at your house. It's worth recommending!

    We really enjoyed staying at the Saturday vacation garden. The room was beautiful and spotlessly cleaned. The staff is amazing, very friendly and highly efficient. Delicious Chinese style breakfast in the morning.

    The manager of the Inn, Joye, went the extra mile to provide service for us by coordinating accommodation & bus service when our original Tour package to Tiger Leaping Gorge got cancelled on us. He is also a great conversationalist. Our time spent there was super satisfactory! I will recommend for anyone looking to stay in a personable, memorable & charming stay in GuCheng city. Even greater choice for those comfortable speaking in English over Mandarin.

    I had an amazing time during my stay here! The location was prime and I loved how hopeful the staff was in helping us plan our trip. I traveled with my dad, sister, and grandma - the staff was so friendly in the accommodations and recommending activities that were family friendly. There's also a cute dog onsite!! Definitely recommend this place and would def come again 😊
