They booked trips, took us to get tickets, got medicine delivered and held our luggage overnight when we stayed in a nearby town for one night. The room is lovely and the newly opened restaurant's food is delicious. Location is stunningly beautiful and it is in walking distance to the reed flute cave. I would highly recommend this hotel. Air con cold and very welcomed in the heat of Guilin. Cold drinks (and cold beer) available at reception, but its not far to find a convenience store selling everything. Plenty of joints to eat at nearby. Breakfast was a great mix of east and west, the coffee good and the view very nice. The location is very central, next to the main shopping street and to the lake with pagodas. A lot of food options nearby. Very efficient and friendly, English speaking staff, that helped us when we forgot some items in the hotel. They have shipped it to our next destination. We used travel agency in the hotel to arrange a trip to the rice terraces. Rich breakfast with many options for everybody. Comfortable and clean rooms. The room is beautiful, big, well decorated and with all amenities needed. For breakfast you can have the famous Guilin noodles, which are delicious. Xiao Ming is a great host and made my stay super comfortable. He helped me find out how and where to buy the cruise tickets and where to find the street food I was looking for.
