The location couldn't have been better: right in the heart of Girón and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful with my questions and requests. I was able to store perishables in the kitchen fridge.

Closest we could find to the airport - so convenient for a 7am airport departure. Receptionist lady was attentive, helpful and kind. When we asked to switch rooms, she immediately offered another one. If you like a firm mattress, the bed was OK.

I was born in this city and came to visit after many years of living overseas. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to experience the city, but particularly to foreigners. The location is superb and well priced for what's on offer; but the main hook of this place is the BREAKFAST BUFFET! Absolutely delicious and AUTHENTIC food that reminded me of what my mother would make when I was a kid. Please try the soup every single day and don't be afraid to ask about the toppings for it (onion,parsley/coriander,toasted bread bits,arepa,etc.) so you can experience the meal as a Colombian would. If you stay here, the INCLUDED breakfast will be an opportunity to explore local cuisine and that's a huge plus in my books.

    We arrived at Giron at night, from the airport. The place is very easy to find, parking is included. As it was closed after 21.00, they found another place for us to keep the car safe. The accomodation is very clean, it has air conditioning and fan (required as it was hot) and the breakfast is tipical Colombian one

    We chose to stay in Giron instead of Bucaramanga as we were flying to Cartagena the next day and we didn't get disappointed. Giron is a nice place (not that much to do, but fun to walk around for a day/night). Our room in trip monkey was very spacious and clean. The shower was very nice and warm and the staff was very welcoming.
