The location was perfect to de-jet lag after a long flight. The building was classic German and wonderful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast included was excellent in the German style. The property had access to a lake and many easy nature trails through the extensive forest.

The hotel is exceptionally good. The location is top: city center, university, park, public transportation stops, restaurants, cafes. The staff is friendly and helpful. The communication is fast. Everything is clean, modern and very well done. Our child got a baby bed and some toys at reception. The atmosphere was good.

    The hotel has a great vibe and we loved our short stay there! Our room was spacious (2 rooms) and comfortable. There's a beautiful garden in the back with places to sit and a small football pitch. The common area was very much alive in the evening, with DJ and food and drinks. The breakfast was reasonably priced and had a decent number of options. We've already booked another stay here on our way back from holidays :-)

    This was my first stay after the change to the new apartment format. Hotel Mathildenhöhe has been one of my favorite accommodations in Darmstadt. The location is good for walking to downtown on the lovely back backroads and alleyways, as well as walking in the extensive parks nearby. Having parking is a big plus and the grounds surrounding the property are very nice. Friendly staff and the new comfortable apartments make this a place I would stay at again on my next visit to Darmstadt.
