Beautifully refurbished property in the small village of Obernzell, just out of Passau. Spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and a small, well equipped kitchen for self catering. Absolutely glorious view, overlooking the Danube, from the balcony. You simply cannot go past this for an authentic experience in the German countryside. We ate at the hotel Donaublick, just next door, which had the same spectacular view.

    I booked a single room last minute for one night. The room was nicer than I expected. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The food was good as was the breakfast. I can recommend staying here if you like the peace and quiet of the Bavarian forests.

    Everything was spectacular. It's quiet, family and dog friendly, the food was very good as well, the beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean, the view from the restaurant is amazing! We only stayed one night, but could easily stay more.

    We stayed in the hotel for one night during our bicykle trip. The room was huge and clean. The staff was great. The breakfast was OK, and the beer after the whole day on bike tast perfect.
