Our stay was during the flooding in early June. Gil contacted us to give us instructions on how to get into the hotel and was always easy to contact if we needed help or advice. The breakfast is a treat with lots of options for all diets. If Gil recommends a restaurant for dinner, go there, you won't be disappointed. Large rooms and comfortable beds, everything was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious and with more options than one can have. The location of the hotel was excellent for walking all around Sankt Goar, with many restaurants nearby. To top it all off, the host was extremely helpful. We loved that the apartment had quality and new equipment. Some people spoke of the train noise - it is minimal wuth windows closed and also, you cannot find and accomodation without some train noise along the Rhine river, that is part of the charm.
