The setting and grounds were tranquil and serene. An area was set aside for smoking, but not in the main areas, and adherence to non-smoking rules was appreciated. Paradors maintain a certain standard of care and maintenance across all areas, including breakfast. We felt blessed and then we went to bed. The view of the hotel changed unfortunately, as the noise from every room on our floor could be heard. We heard phone alerts, conversation and toilet noises. To top it all, someone came it around 3am and was so noisy they may aswell have been in our room. The staff were so friendly and warm. The hotel is old, unique and authentic but incredibly comfortable and stylish. Great bed, big shower, tea and coffee provided.
