Both speak English especially Nicolas so we got on extremely well with a mixture of the two languages Antoine cooked breakfast and evening meal. His choice made his ability as a qualified chef come through. Best of all they were interested in us as people not just customers. The villa is a green oasis in the heart of the town close to all amenities but quiet and tranquil. We even had a nice dry space for our bicycles. The hosts are very welcoming, the provisions have been thoroughly and generously thought out. The room is so comfortable with a view to the majestic cathedral. Loved the winding stone staircase up four floors. If there was more than just a couple it would have been great as the single beds were in a separate room with the spacious shower and toilet room in the middle. It's a beautiful house, which has been renovated to a very high quality with a whole lot of style. Our room was spacious with lots of lovely features and thoughtful touches - it felt luxurious and relaxing. Best of all were our hosts who were very warm and instantly made us feel at home.
