The beds were super comfy and the shower was amazing. We loved all the little extra touches and the view of the sheep laden field and lake below was stunning. It was also lovely having the cafe across the way ( amazing cream teas!) and our host Emma couldn't have been more lovely or more welcoming. It was extremely good value. Lovely kitchen/seating area with views over the countryside. Bedrooms all nice, clean and simple. It's in a little complex of holiday flats, next to a field which you have direct access too and is perfect for watching the sunset. We only stayed for two nights but would loved to have stayed for longer. The site is beautiful with quirky accommodation for those that want it, spotless and extremely quiet, the owners were very helpful and made sure we knew how to contact them if we needed them but left us to enjoy our weekend.
