I adored every little detail – from the cozy atmosphere to the incredible hot tub, which was absolutely divine. I’m already looking forward to coming back and will definitely plan another trip to Scotland just to stay here longer. Beautiful place in full naturel environment. Lovely to be able to sit outside and watch the swallows going up and down. They seem to spend a lot of effort on eco friendly environment. Helpful message to book your restaurant. Petty the horses were out on the field. Would have liked to meet them. Laat but not least super soft kingsize bed. Thanks again for your hospitality. Hope we can come back again.

We enjoyed everything about the house. Completely quiet location, spotlessly clean, very nicely furnished, comfortable beds. Anti-midge nets in bedroom windows! The bathtub with Scottish salts and bubblebath available for guests makes it practically a wellness stay for weary hikers. A beautiful welcome pack from hosts. Hiking and biking guides available on the bookshelves. Very prompt and easy communication with hosts. For a family of 4 ideal. There is no kitchenette with a stove/sink but that is duly notified beforehand and you find all the necessary dishes and utensils and a microwave to still have a simple dinner at home - plus the hosts take care of the dishes! For those dining out, easy walk to the lovely village with several good restaurants.

    We had a wonderful start to our holiday at Kilmaronock Manse. Gordon and Maggi are wonderful hosts. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. We wish we’d booked to stay here longer but will definitely be back next time we’re in Scotland.

    Very friendly lovely family business, local knowledge great,plenty off knowledge on where to visit and sights to see,make there own pizzas never got to try this time will be on my list next time,also does homemade baking for sale, my stay was comfortable, accommodation clean, hosts very friendly and acommodating, breakfast lovely with eggs from there hens and ducks 😀

    Location was ideal. An old, very charming Hotel. Breakfast was sufficient, staff was very polite and hardworking. Room was small, but more than enough, considering we only stayed there to sleep. We enjoyed our stay and can only recommend this accomodation!

    We stayed at Dunroamin Lodge on our way to the Isle of Sky. The accommodation was perfect and we had the best nights sleep. Clean and comfortable with beautiful chickens walking around the garden. We even booked to stay again on our way back.
