Within 5 minutes walk from the pretty historic village of Lacock, this place is a gem. The rectory has been tastefully restored, and everything feels new and fresh. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was generous. The bed was comfortable, and our room had a view out over the beautiful garden. However the best part of our stay was not the property, but the hosts Helen and Wyatt. There were helpful and friendly and went way above and beyond expectation. Nothing was too much trouble. We would not hesitate to return.

it was like being in a fairy tale. Perfect location in little Lacock near a fantastic Gothic church. Joanna and Rufus immediately showed themselves to be friendly, empathetic and welcoming. very nice and tastefully furnished accommodation on 2 floors. Perfect cleanliness. Everything was attention to detail and new (many and very soft towels). Rufus was also available to light a fire in the brazier in our courtyard (beautiful). Joanna brought us a breakfast basket. I repeat, you can see how the owners pay attention to every detail and do everything with passion. Absolutely good value for money.

Such a beautiful hotel, spacious room with bathtub and reasonable price, cozy and warm. Beautiful view through window. Staffs were good, helped me carry my heavy luggage. And there’s a bar ground floor, I had beer, live music and fun! I will come back!

The meals were excellent. We had dinner and breakfast. I love that so much of the original building has been maintained and restored, rather than covering it up. It is clean, lovely, quaint. It was a wonderful stay and Lalock is a fun town to visit.

    A stunning property with the most beautiful gardens and setting. The history of the property adds great significance, and the rectory has been renovated beautifully to enhance this. We had a great stay in our fabulous room which had everything we needed. Breakfast was also a great experience with a gorgeous garden as a backdrop. The food was excellent and served quickly by the very attentive hosts who also took time to chat to us and the other guests.
