Extremely well located and extra accommodating for an off season visit. Staff was incredibly friendly and flexible and our room was clean, refreshed, and with a recently renovated bathroom. The room was a little humid but you are right on the water so that is to be expected! Considering the price, accommodations, staff, and ease of arrival and departure - 10/10. Simple and as described.

When we arrived we got welcomed by the owner of the hotel. The room was very beautiful, cozy, clean and with a good working air conditioning. The cleaning service did every day a great job. I’m our room we had the nice balcony with a sunset on the sea every night. From our balcony we could also see the swimming pool, with the hot weather it was really nice to go for a dive there and lay in the sun. Every morning we had a good and diverse breakfast. The staff was always really nice and polite, when we were going for dinner the owner of the hotel brought us to the city center. These 2 days we experienced as more than perfect and very lovely. Thank you Elafonisos Mare for your hospitality and everything else!!

This was a lovely old village house with loads of character. It had been beautifully restored, in keeping with the original era, including typical furniture and kitchenware where possible. It had excellent views and was very peaceful and calm. The kitchen was generally well equipped, but strangely, had forks and spoons, but no knives in the drawers. There was a delightful terrace from the top bedroom with table and chairs to eat outside. It was a wonderful place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town, a few kilometres down the mountainside.

    Wonderful experience! We stayed there at the begginning of July, not too crowded, the island is paradise...and Socrates was the perfect accomodation: very very clean, fully equipped, beautiful sunset view, cool and with a lovely big terrace, just a couple of minutes walk from the center. Nikos and Maria are so good too! Helpful, nice, friendly. Nikos also gave us a bottle of his own production olive oil on departure which was very much appreciated and really good! An overall positive and happy stay!

    The location is perfect just on the front of the main village pomenade, fantastic view from the balcony, close to everything and yet quiet and private. The apartment is very comfortable, has everything one may need on holiday and more. The host Irene could not do enough to make our stay most comfortable, she was super helpful and very pleasant to deal with. If I come back to Elafonisos I would not hesitate to book this superb apartment again. Thank you Irene!

    This was a true gem we came across o dew to a last minute cancellation. The accommodation is very well maintained and thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. We were spoiled by a very attentive yet not invasive host who lives on site through out our much enjoyable stay. Property is a stones throw from lovely beaches and minutes walk from numerous restaurants. We will definitely consider Kalomoira’s on out next visit.

    If you are looking for a hotel that is within walking distance of a beautiful beach, you are in the right place. The hotel is peaceful, surrounded by nature, with a view of the dunes and the sea in the distance. At night, you can hear the waves and sleep with the windows open. There is mosquito protection for the balcony doors, although it's slightly damaged. The breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of tasty treats and fresh egg dishes. It feels more like a vacation on a country estate than a hotel stay. We really enjoyed it.

    Kalomoira and her husband are a welcoming couple who has been so caring for us. Everything has been perfect in this accommodation. The room was clean, fitted with all the comforts you’d need, the terrace on the garden is quiet so as you can enjoy your breakfast (lovely made be Kalomoira). The bed is more than comfortable. You’re within walking distance from the village center where you can find mini markets and restaurants. We definitely suggest this accommodation to better enjoy your vacation in Elafonisos.
