Very friendly hosts (Thania - thank you again for everything), living nearby. The apartment is new — just renovated. It has air conditioning, hot water, a kettle, stove, refrigerator, TV-set, and internet — everything was in working order. The hosts offered kind and helpful compliments. The communication was efficient and to the point. The house is about a 7-minute walk from the beach. There’s a restaurant next door, but we didn’t make it there during our 2-day stay. The town center (restaurants, shops) is just a 2-minute walk away.

    I’ve stayed in a number of places around Greece, this is by far my favourite. The hosts are fantastic wholesome people who make sure you have everything you need to be comfortable. The apartment was impeccably clean as well as the whole complex with the pool being cleaned daily. Your a 5 minute walk from the beach and 10 minutes from a supermarket and anything else you might need. Could not recommend this place enough.

    The small village of Kakovatos is adorable. The hotel is well located in front of the sea. The people of the staff are available and agreeable. The building is new. My room had a terrace where I could seat in front of the sea. The garden is clean. The Greek breakfast is excellent. I enjoyed my stay. Thanks to everyone in this hotel. Specially to the Lady who was waiting for my arrival the first night and to Yorgos.

    Don't expect a typical Booking.com place. It is a mixture of hotel, hostel and camping. All in and around Yiannis' house. A wonderful place to relax and interact with other people at the same time. I wanted to stay two nights, but ended up staying four. Don't be afraid of the dogs, they are calm and will leave you alone.

    Was my birthday and the thoughtful host upgraded our rooms and even had a birthday cake prepared for me! Beds were comfortable and breakfast spread of Greek and western hot/cold food was excellent. The common lounge had a fireplace lit and it felt like we stayed in a warm traditional Greek family home which came with 2 large dogs! Parking on the property was super convenient and great location with easy walk to lots of eateries, shops and supermarket nearby.

    The host & her friend were lovely. It was like being with family. So welcoming. When you turn up, there's two big scary looking dogs. But once we were out of the car, they were gentle giants. The owner rescued them when they were puppies, they were abandoned. She's a very kind & lovely lady. We will definitely stay again. Su, Jon, Hannah &;Riley

    Friendly welcoming hosts, and the room suited our requirements for our 3 night stay. It was very comfortable and had a great shower. We ate at the Taverna 2 nights, and it was delicious, and was great value. Thank you.

    The Rex Hotel was a delightful surprise. Wonderful, responsive host and staff who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible. The lavish breakfasts were amongst the best I've ever had. So many delicious, freshly made tarts, pies and cakes in addition to an extensive range of other high quality offerings make this hotel one of the more unique and special places my friends and I have stayed. We can't wait to go back.

    My friend and I enjoyed the beautiful accommodations and were so happy to spend a few quiet days here. Our apartment was excellent, the pool inviting and the location was perfect. The beach was a short walk away and there were many wonderful places to eat in the town nearby. The host family welcomed us warmly upon arrival and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
