The common rooms and the kitchen were clean and had everything you need for a stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sometimes the hostel owner organizes cultural events, when we slept there we were lucky to listen to a Canadian songwriter. The property itself is located in a beautifully peaceful part of Iceland with stunning views over the North Atlantic Ocean from the balcony. My wife and I were staying here for 2 nights as part of a big birthday celebration for her and she was absolutely thrilled with it; couldn't recommend it more highly for anyone looking for a really comfortable stay away from the hustle and bustle of a major town.
