Beautiful property!! Our room was upgraded & was very clean & spacious. The bed was very comfortable. There was a fabulous double bathroom. We loved it. Breakfast was wonderful with a very large variety of foods & eggs cooked how you liked. There was a basket of fruit & a basket of vegetables & a large juicer so everyone could make their own fresh juice. All the breakfast food was delicious.

Such a lovely place to stay while walking the Via Francigena. Big beautiful room with a view of one of the highlights, Monteriggioni, of the walk. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Good restaurants very near as well. Do yourself a favor and stay here for a night!

The location is marvellous, perfect for a few quiet days to enjoy the pool, the view and some delicious dinners! We mostly planned daytrips to several towns and other attractions in the region and found a great "homebase" at Poggiarello to relax afterwards. We will definetly be back :)

Really nice and comfortable appartament. Owners were very welcoming and helpful. In kitchen we found all utensils we needed to prepare our dinner, there was even oil and vinegar.. Beds were comfortable. Nice balcony. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Very beautiful location, you will find you in the middle of the nature, without neighbours , just perfect to recharge your batteries. Very clean, modern combined with vintage furniture in a very nice way. For the breakfast you need to pay, 14 euros/ person, we did and Barbara prepared a very nice breakfast with a view over the wineyards. There’s a possibility to do laundry, 15 euros. And also, you have possibility to ask for a private dinner , we did it and everything was more than perfect. Very romantic and attention on details with a great food and wine. We definitely recommend villa montecastello.

    An absolute oasis of calm, great service, excellent restaurant, amazing pool, everyone very friendly , family friendly. One of the best accommodations we have known in Tuscany. We stayed for 5 days and would stay longer, we will definitely be back.

    Of all the places I have booked through Booking.com, this may be our very favorite. Any dream you have had of Tuscany will come true at this amazing villa. If you go, have the dinner service at least once. Jens, the owner of the property, is also a gourmet chef. The food, the accommodations, the location—-there is so much to love here.

    This beautyful location is a guarantee for the ultimate holiday feeling. The staff is also incredibly hospitable and goes out of their way to make you enjoy your stay.     The room was comfortable. Dinner at the linked restaurant was very good. But, no breakfast was provided and, although we specifically asked about availability of breakfast at the accommodation or nearby we were not forewarned that none of the nearby cafes would be open for breakfast….until April! Had we been informed we would have stayed somewhere else where breakfast is provided. We were disappointed by the lack of accurate advance information which spoiled an otherwise good stay.

    We had a perfect holiday here. The cleanliness of the entire property and the rooms are exceptional - like nowhere I’ve ever seen before. Beautiful scenery, great location, quiet, peaceful, lovely pool, amazing staff (Guido!), spacious rooms, free laundry facilities, endless good things. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
