Room is spacious and clean. the outdoor onsen is a gem, so relaxing and well landscaped. Our omakase meals tasted great and different dishes for the 2 nights that we stayed. One of the staff even recognized us when we were walking to the train station after our sandbath at Saraku and picked us up to drive us back to the hotel. I used daily one of the three bicycles lent freely by the property to visit Ibusuki and its immediate surroundings. I will return longer to that hostel on my next Japanese trip and take the train locally to the volcano Kaimondake, or by bus to the Peace Museum (WWII aviation) and other places of interest.Guest review byHenriqueSolo traveller
