We had the best stay ever! This location is truly paradise. the host is incredibly helpful. He offers to help you make restaurant reservations and organise transport to get there since there isnt really a bus or taxis on the island. He picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off again. He made us really nice breakfast sandwiches every morning. The most helpful thing was that we got a bit unlucky with the weather there was a typhoon and tsunami warning and he always informed us and kept us up to date about whats going on. The ferry wasnt going because of the weather so he organised a boat taxi that drove us to the island! Incredibly proactive and a lovely person! We recommend staying there.

It was absolutely amazing. A large villa with everything you need. Very clean, accurate, comfortable and stylish. Location is also very convenient: next to the shop and close to the beach. The host picked us up in the port before check in and dropped back after check out. Check in time is in the morning, which is useful if you arrive with the morning ferry.

The place contained everything we were looking for for. The room was spacious and clean. Bed extremely good. Food served was fabulous and the service from the manager and staff very extremely polite and professional. We loved everything about it.

Brand new hotel in a very quiet area just a few minutes walk from Tomari port. For Aharen beach they provide a shuttle service which only takes 10-15minutes. They also provide a pick up service. Lady at the reception took the time to explain everything and was very nice! Definitely recommend!

    We loved the place. Very nice stay with the best hosts ever. Beautiful beach nearby (38 steps- that is why the name). Lovely swims with turtles and at evening a fantastic sky with stars. The breakfast wonderful especially the japanese style one. We also ate very good food at the place evenings. Best recommendations.

    the guesthouse has a lot of potential, the possibility of renting equipment is an additional advantage, but the bikes squeak a lot, something should be done about it. there is a smell of mold in the rooms and this unfortunately affected the entire stay, there are also no mosquito nets, which is an additional problem considering the number of mosquitoes on the island, I think that at this price the rooms should be better maintained.

    Jitsuyo-san is an exceptional host, very friendly and accommodating. The room is small, although this is typical for Japanese accommodation but all facilities were included, washing machine, cooking plate, microwave oven, tv from 1995, pots and basic cutlery. Clean small bathroom/shower/toilet (enter forward, exit backwards). We would stay here again

    The hosts of this accommodation are very friendly and helpful! It is an excellent place to stay for families. The apartments are not big but have loads of good facilities.
