This place is the definition of a getaway. truly remote. Never thought I'd experience this side of Sri Lanka on this holiday. Very nature based, local food, got to speak to the people in the villages on how they cultivate their crops, went on a very scenic bike ride with friends in the evening with the best views. The RIVER! wow loved every bit of it. We spent around 3 hours here and had a final dip before leaving the next day too. The water flowing over the shoulders felt like a free spa treatment.

We stayed in the department for one night, the rooms are clean and large. Villa with a beautiful view. There is hot water. In the morning we were made a wonderful breakfast with fruit, omelet and local breakfasts. It was very tasty.

The stay was perfect. The place is absolutely breathtaking. The facilities are clean and very nicely done. I have eaten here several times and the food was also excellent. Amazing experience during my stay in Ella. Beautiful view from the balcony, and amazing hosts. You could order meals from them as well. Very good local food. The hosts are very kind and caring. They even helped me with getting a tuk tuk to one of the locations I wanted to visit. Right behind the property, there is a bit of a hike you could do, and you could have an amazing view of the whole area. The hosts accompanied me all the way up there to get some photos. Well kept place with all the required facilities. Two large beds, bunk bed style! Highly recommended.
