The hotel was beautiful. We loved the infinity pool. The walkway to your room is so pretty with flowers hanging down. It’s a great spot to take pictures. The breakfast is great as well. We woke up earlier than when breakfast started and they rushed to get it ready for us. I would definitely stay again!

The view is amazing. The hotel is brand new and thr hosts are amazing. It is a bir far from the main road, but it means you have silence and can relax, plus the view is great being on top of the hills. The free shuttle to the town and from the town everytime you need it is amazing. The host even prepared take-away breakfast for us because we left very early in the morning. Would recommend 100% to stay here if you are coming to Ella.

If you are looking for a local experience in Ella this is the perfect place to stay. What impressed us the most is the hospitality of the family. We stayed for 1 night and it was pouring rain, so as we couldn't go to a restaurant the family prepared us dinner and made us feel like at home. The breakfast the next day was fantastic too. Thank you, we will surely come back!

This is a perfect stay for me because it stays away from all the crowds and noise in the city center. Walking distance is 20 mins from the train station which I think is a decent walk. Beautiful scenery in the way. I only took tuktuk when I was with my luggage. The breakfast is amusing and you can also have dinner for a very reasonable price. The family is very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend to stay here if you come to Ella.

This place is incredible :) our best accomodation in Sri Lanka. View is spectacular, we can see Ravana waterfall from bed. Room is very clean, cosy, owners thought about everything: hot shower, fridge, cool glasses and water, shampoo and shower gel, we can use even hairdryer here! Tasty, local breakfast, juices, coffee. Very kind and helpful owners, we felt very comfortable and spent fantastic time here. Highly recommend! Thank you for having us 🌸

This is a real gem. We booked the family room and the double room which were both clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The view is just incredible and so relaxing. The scenery in the morning is just amazing when you see and hear all the surroundings waking up. From the start, we were welcome with such a nice friendly atmosphere and they went over their duty to make us happy. We all absolutely loved it and will come back.     We are fortunate to have travelled the world and can say this is one of our favourite accommodations ever. The rooms are ginormous, so spacious, modern, the view is indescribable, the breakfast is some of the best food we've had in Sri Lanka. The staff are so kind and helpful and will make sure you have an amazing time. I cannot believe the value for money of this place, can't recommend it enough.     We stayed three nights in Pramitha's family room. The hoste was very respectful and friendly. We received a delicious breakfast every morning. The location is a bit higher in the mountains than other accommodations but definitely doable on foot (you can take shortcuts through steps), you are in the city center in 20min. Highly recommended!

    Nice play to stay a little bit further away from the business of Ella. We stayed in the chalet. Next time we would choose for the newer accommodations, which looked stunning. Our room was certainly nice, but needs a little bit of love and attention. Private pool was amazing. Food delicious! We probably had our best curry from the whole trip!

    Breakfast good, pot of very good tea (not cup only as in some other accommodations). Nice view from balcony on hills and bridge but me likes hills more than bridge 😉 friendly staff, take tuktuk was a matter of minutes. With stay my wife was very happy. Adapter for EU plug available in room.

    Very nice and clean accommodation with a great terrace and view. The accommodation looks relatively new and very well made. The beds are very comfortable and there is even hot water in the shower if you wait a bit. Breakfast was very large, varied and delicious, the owners even cater to individual wishes and are very kind. One of the best accommodations we have stayed in Sri Lanka!

    The views, the room, the balcony for breakfast. Our three night stay at Secret View was such a lovely experience and one of our best accommodations in Sri Lanka. We were able to explore Ella but also were more than happy to relax at the hotel when it was raining. Our host was so so helpful and was so kind to offer to pick us up and take us into town by tuktuk when we wanted. The location of the hotel is exceptional with views of mountainous landscapes and a gorgeous flowing waterfall. Thank you so much Secret View!
