The cabins are located directly next to the lake and you have a lake-view from your bed. Even if the location is very calm you can walk in 5 minutes to the main road with the bus stop, restaurants and a fruit shop. The hosts are very welcoming and help you with everything. The stay was beautiful and I felt very safe at the accommodation. It was around a 20 minute walk to El Pital and El Zopilote. Large very clean room with a beautiful view of the volcano and garden. Waking up to the sound of the howler monkeys and watching them climb from tree to tree was a highlight. We loved having access to a kitchen to prepare meals. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and arranged a tour to the volcano lookout. Close to great restaurants and other activities in the area. Highly suggest a vehicle to get around to save time to do more activities. Odelva booked a brilliant kayak tour for us and we rented a scooter through her too. She took care of everything. Our room was cleaned daily and after two nights our linen and towels were changed. There's a lovely common area with hammocks in the shade. The hostel is a short walk from a few great comerdores too. This felt like a proper holiday. All the staff were extremely helpful. Megan was a fantastic hostess and made sure we had everything we needed.
