Cotran Sur is a walkable distance too; or a super quick and cheap shared taxi ride away. The location worked perfect for me, as I planned to take buses to nearby locations such as Miraflor, Estanzuela etc. It is close to supermarket and local shops, so you can buy fresh produce for your meals. Gilbert is such a nice man, he made us feel at home and even is a good chef! So if you're not want to drive to the centre of Esteli he can cook you a very good meal. The area is beautiful and slightly cooler then te rest of Nicaragua.
