Bastion Hotel was a great choice for that! It is located right next to the train station from which a Sprinter for Amsterdam leaves every half an hour. It is very convenient to the train station, and is in a super quiet corner of the neighborhood (because the neighbors are all deceased, i.e., the hotel is next to a cemetery). The staff we interacted with were all approachable and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good and we enjoyed our drink in the bar.
