Their breakfast is sensational, with a huge variety and quality, and their hot chocolate is to die for. The fact that they have free coffee and tea 24/7 is a big big plus. You have to put the bedding on yourself and the bathroom is shared. But the place is super clean, with friendly staff, a great breakfast (included in the price) and fantastic views from the breakfast balcony, where you can also chill with a drink in the evening. Well equipped, comfortable beds and in a peaceful area a short drive away from Gjøvik. We stayed over the Easter holidays and had a fire going in the evening, lovely! Must be fantastic in the summer as well with bathing and barbecue opportunities down by Mjøsa.
