We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this property! The house was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay at Oppdal.

It was unbelievable. Location in the mountains, hiking from your doorstep. Cabin was beautifully appointed and cosy- you can tell the owners are proud of it. Such a great stay they could have charged us double.

    Excellent place to stay overnight during a road trip. It offers great value for money compared to, for example, staying in Trondheim; the town itself has everything you need, and nice nature is around the corner.

    Second time I stayed at Vekve Hyttetun. Once again it was an excellent base to explore Dovrefell national park. Oppdal is only 25mins away from Kongsvol train station where you can hike to the DNT hut Reinheim or search around for Musk Ox to photograph. Friendly owner and the cabins are super comfortable and warm.
