Beds are comfortable. The waiter Olaf was very attentive and polite, and added to the whole dining experience. Tyssedal is very close to the start of the Trolltunga track, and has a supermarket just 1 minute walk away. Other hotels promise thins and then give you a 40yo paper thing sofabed. Tyssedal hotel was very comfortable. Food was good for adults and kids. For the money it was decent. Room was bright, bathroom modern, breakfast nice, evening meal in restaurant delicious. Plus the local ciders. Perfect stay after five day hike on Hardangervidda.
