Loved our stay here! Owner and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a ground floor with porch looking directly at ocean, beach just a few steps across the street. Long beautiful beach, great for walking.

The view is exceptional, everything was clean, tidy. the hosts were really friendly and the coffee pods for the nespresso machine was great. Really enjoyed the morning coffee over looking the beach even though the weather wasn’t playing ball

I had such a lovely stay with Miria & Taroi who received me with open hearts after my friend had to cancel on our trip due to covid. Their place is a little oasis right next to the beach, perfect to unwind & get inspired!

Such a welcoming couple! The accommodation was awesome. We especially liked the fact that (as it was raining for mmost of our stay) there was a table and chairs (we put them on the deck under cover) outside, as well as inside (roomy). A big bonus is the washing machine and dishwasher. And also, Such a wonderful surprise were all sorts of goodies, such as yoghurt and fruit cups, lots of milk, fruit juice.....and bonus chocolate and chips. There are a few shops at the Hub nearby (kmart , bunnings, etc), supermarkets are in Whakatane which is not too far to drive to , about 10mins. We enjoyed the Peace and quiet!

    Location is excellent. Loved the range of things provided at accommodation (even had gladwrap & tinfoil available) Welcoming staff. Overall would recommend as value for money. This is our third stay at this accommodation within 18 months.

    The views were fantastic. Could see the ocean and see and hear native Birdlife. The accommodation was fantastic also. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The holiday was so good we have already booked to go back next year. I would totally recommend this place to stay.

    Clean, spacious accommodation. Loved the breakfast options and really appreciated having a decent size dining table - to enjoy the breakfast! Spa was fantastic. Would have liked to stay longer. We have stayed before and we're so impressed we returned, with friends staying in the 2nd unit.
