José was excellent! I came to Trujillo to meet a Peruvian friend, but due to unseen circumstances I was alone for 4 days. I figured why not take up surf then and relax as I had 3 more weeks ahead on my South American adventure. I came across the property just by walking by. I met José at reception and paid him for one night. My one night turned into 3... I took up surfing for the only 3rd time in my life! Kevin was a stern, yet patient instructor, 'stroke fast through the water, Mark!' I surfed on day 2 and 3. Gracias, Kevin! I also appreciated the wifi was very good throughout the property.

We had an amazing time at Yellow House. George and his son Diego are very nice hosts who treated us like friends. If we had any questions they would help us right away, we even went to a local party together that was a lot of fun. The location is nice, the room is nice and the rooftop terrace is amazing specially at sundown.

Apartment is in ground floor off garage. Only daylight is from 2 small courtyards in middle of building. The washing machine and drying line on roof - great views over the beach. The beds are comfortable with bedside lamps and power points. The shower not very powerful but there is hot water. There are restaurants nearby and lots more a short walk into town. Communication was good.

    Dario and Gigi are such warm and friendly hosts! Their welcoming vibes really made my stay feel so at home, and the wonderful smell of incense as you enter the hostel is just lush!     I loved my stay at the Pointbreak surf camp! I was able to take surfing lessons every day and easily rent boards. The atmosphere and staff are amazing, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the sea view is simply breathtaking. The camp is perfectly located right in front of the ocean, making the experience even more magical. I highly recommend it!

    One of the best hostel I’ve been in my life. Super clean, hot showers, curtain on the dorm bed. Amazing family vibe with common areas that makes it easy to meet other travelers. Paul the owner was super helpful ! I’m not surprised by how many people end up prolonging their stay !

    Great hostel to meet people and enjoy the beach. I booked a single room and it was very cozy. The walls are a bit thin, so I could hear noise from the common areas, but it didn't bother me and I was able to sleep soundly. The water in the rooms was hot, which was perfect since I visited in the winter. Hostel is right next to the beach walking distance to many bars and restaurants. I traveled alone and had a wonderful stay!
