Just a short 10-ish minute walk from the city center, Vila Julieta was nested in a quiet enclave of Coimbra - making a good night’s sleep easy. Our room was spotless and had great air conditioning which was a plus on a 32° day. Breakfast was replete with all the stuff you’d expect from a good hotel (fresh breads, cold cuts, fresh fruits, jams, fresh pressed juice, the works) but also had a bunch of local goodies to try. Sonia and Jonah were super gracious hosts and were happy to give us recommendations for dinner and drinks. All in all, I think this is one those places you definitely revisit for a relaxing, welcoming stay.

So clean and newly refurbished, smelt so fresh. Lovely view to the park, sunny, comfortable bed and shower, very convenient to university and botanical gardens. Host very attentive and kindly allowed us to leave our bags albacore check in and slightly after check out time. Great value

What an adorable property! Would have loved to stay longer. The patio, the pool and the garden just invite you to stay there and enjoy. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. The house is beautifully decorated and everything is set up to make you feel like home. I loved that it was close enough to the city centre, but not AT the touristic area. It was very convenient as we were traveling by car, so we didn't have the problem of having to go through the restricted area. We could just park and then cross the bridge to the old town. 15/10!

    Ishmael was amazingly generous picking us us and dropping us off at the end of our 2 day stay. That just took away any stress in finding the accommodation when hot and tired. He was so accommodating and genuinely helpful (without strings!) we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone visiting Coimbra

    I really loved staying here - especially the garden…! Everything was amazing -my room was so nice :) the bed was really comfortable and great shower and I just felt so peaceful and able to properly rest, the time blurred together so after only two days I feel I had a proper holiday, and it was such a nice place to relax after visiting Coimbra thank you for the incredibly warm welcome and for making me feel at home it was such a nice atmosphere enjoyed it so much!

    This is another level of accommodation. A connection between architecture, beauty and comfort house. The hosts were very friendly and gave us excellent advice on nearby attractions and restaurants. The view from the garden was spectacular, and the house is very spacious with two gardens and private parking space. Very good location We loved the story behind the monument of the property. I would highly recommend this loft to anyone wanting to stay in Coimbra.
