Hershey Park is just a short car ride from the Motel. You can get an Uber XL for around $10 and avoid the $25 fee to park at Hershey. We had an apartment, which had two bedrooms, a living room with pull out and a full kitchen. There are the basics as far as kitchenware and I was able to cook breakfast.
