The hippos cross the garden by night, which we found very exciting :) Andre is super friendly and have us great recommendations. He cleans the cottages daily and even managed for us the get all our laundry washed in a master of hours. We felt very welcome and in the right place in Lake St. Lucia lodge... The front garden is absolutely fantastic, so is the one in the backend. If our cottage looked a bit oldish, it was well expected as per the pictures on Booking. Frankly all the necessary was there and beds were cosy. The owner Imelda is really lovely, she can tell you many things about the region. She has also been very arranging in terms of scheduling.
