Jayla Homestay is a treasure! Mmapula, the owner, chef and tour operator was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and good value. What was exceptional were the home cooked meals. Everything about this place is AMAZING. It is way better than it looks in the pictures. The place is cozy, organized, clean, very spacious and has a great vibe. You feel very relaxed and disconnected in this cabin surrounded by nature. Tebla (the host) is beyond kind, he is very cordial and helpful, one of the nicest people we met in Botswana. He makes sure you have a great stay and want's to genuinely help you. The place location is not easy to find if you hire a local cab on the street, so I would recommend hiring the shuttle service with Acacia Cottage.

Although the pick up was just under £8 to get into the town for supplies and return was double this and really added to the bill. Although it was value for money because we took a while shopping, it was something to consider. We liked that it was available though. The room was very modern. The place was very secure and safe.
