L’établissement La Tigra Rainforest Lodge est situé à 32 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Chutes de La Fortuna. Il comprend un restaurant, une piscine extérieure, un jardin et une terrasse. This was probably my favorite part of Costa Rica Trip! It was so surreal to spend some time disconnected and surrounded by such beautiful nature. Loved all the trails, but sandaderos in bosque la tigra was my favorite. It’s a primary and secondary rainforest property they have nearby and you can visit it for a small fee. I saw there more wildlife by myself than in any other forests walking with a guide. I did a night tour and we walked around the property, not even rainforest further out, and saw 3 snakes within the first 5minutes, so many frogs and other insects, and the guide was very knowledgable. I also planted a tree there and it was a really beautiful experience of giving back to the nature and community. Overall service is 10/10, always with a smile, always asking a question or two. No connection at all anywhere except the reception, but wifi there is stronger than in most coworkings I have visited here in Costa Rica. The only thing that was challenging for me personally and I have not seen it mentioned in the comments is if you sometimes get car sick, a road to the property will make you car sick, so please have some medicine handy. But it’s the entire area around that is like this, so just accepting it as part of adventure. I recommend staying for 2-3 nights and spending it in the lodge area enjoying the nature, the best disconnection and reconnection with the self “retreat” 🤭

Entouré de 348 hectares privés de forêt tropicale et agrémenté d'un lac, d'une piscine, d'une terrasse bien exposée et d'une salle de jeux sur place, l'Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails est situé dans... The views were fantastic, Arenal volcano is intimidating ( as it is very close to the resort) but mesmerising. The bird life is abundant and the Coatis walk around ignoring people just doing their own things (which is as it should be) The breakfast was fantastic. The road to the resort is a dirt road and could be rough. there are no lights at night ,hence be careful when venturing out at night.However if you have a good car and consider the road conditions it can be easily done with an SUV or a constant 4WD. I will recommend a big car but not necessarily 4x4. As the resort is very isolated the only place to have dinner is the restaurant which was expensive. However with a good car you can venture into the small local towns an have a multitude of choices.( alway ask the staff about eating choices you will get good information from them ).Hence that is one of the reasons I will recommend an SUV. As the resort is so vast you could stay there without going anywhere else and honestly say you know Cost Rica. The waterfall within the property was breathtaking, you get to it via a beautiful walk via the forest. There are 2 suspending bridges, lots of well marked walks and the births are. amazing.

The garden is beautiful . Basically you are sitting on your patio surrounded with all kind of tropical flowers and vegetation with perfect volcano view . Amazing feeling. Also for birds watching you don’t have to go far. They are all over the place from sunset and all day long.

Situé à côté du volcan Arenal au Costa Rica, le Los Lagos Spa & Resort Thermal Experience se trouve à 6 km de La Fortuna. Le site est magnifique, très propre. J'avais peur d'etre déçue sur place mais non, dès l'entree sur le site on en prend plein la vue ! Nous avons beaucoup profité des piscines. Bon buffet de déjeuner et personnel très gentil. Nous espérons y revenir.

The place was absolutely beautiful and very well located. The architecture was stunning — modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The space was well laid out, spotless, and clearly well maintained. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the host was great throughout the process. I’d definitely stay here again!
